I use to look to Robin Williams, Bill Murray and Tom Hanks a lot growing up because they each reminded me aspects of my father. Losing Robin Williams to suicide hurts me so much cause its like I lost a piece of my dad, and an idol who brought joy through his performances, and that fact I struggle with depression myself at times. Its just weird.
I sometimes get labeled as a stupid hipster from New York City with a beard and cycling cap.
But I don’t mind that label so much because:
RIP Robin Williams
Robin Williams is nothing short of legendary~ his performances throughout his career were as diverse as they were unique, and while all of them were beloved, one of my personal favourites was always Batty in FernGully. Thank you, Robin Williams!
Oddly enough, I was in line to see a comedy show in New York when I heard the news of Robin William’s passing. Enjoying improv actually seemed like the most fitting thing to do while dealing with the fact that we lost one of the world’s greatest funnymen.
